SuperKids International is a Humanitarian and Environmental Organization committed to the task of assisting organizations, nations and individuals with worthy humanitarian and environmental projects.
We believe that the 'Circle of Life' on this planet is a very delicate balance.
Intricately interdependent, each of us is a unique strand in the fabric of life. Yet each of us an expressway passenger on a collision course with the extinction of the human race.
We must each make some small effort to change the course of our shared future, the future of this planet. If not, it is likely that we will only be recorded in the annuals of some distant future race, as the lost civilization of man. A species destroyed by the careless explotation and waste of it's own natural resources. A species wholly and directly responsible for the destruction of it's own unique environment.
Why We Are concerned? Because every three minutes another animal species is forced into extinction, their invaluable genetic code vanished, and more than 300 acres of forest lands are laid waste, forever destroying the richness of nature's beauty and too quickly unraveling the very fabric of life on this planet!
There are even more frightening statistics: Absolutely NOT for the faint of heart !
By 2020, unless we stop the slaughter now, there will be no Elephants left in Africa.
Think Quick! Less than 24% of our Virgin Rainforests and less than 58% of our Rainforest species remain today! Yet, the human race is destroying forests at a rate of more than 100 acres a minute each and every day!!!
Each year, Americans alone produce the equivalent of 10lbs of plastic for every human on Earth.
Each day, residents of Los Angles, California combined, literally drive from the Earth to Mars, some 142 million miles. Maybe some of these people could take a bus?
Only 3% of the Earth's water is fresh drinkable water. Yet The U.S. alone wastefully uses an average of 450 billion gallons of water EACH DAY!!
America alone destroys over ONE BILLION TREES each year to make DISPOSABLE DIAPERS!!!
If Americans alone could simply eat just 10% less meat, the saved grains and soybeans, could feed 60 million more people, coincidentally the same number of people who starve to death each year on this planet.
So what can you do? Reuse your plastic bags, take a bus, carpool, eat less meat, get a water saving shower head, turn off lights your not using, recycle, reuse, refuse to buy wasteful products. Bet you can guess at least 2 more!!
Whatever you choose to do, do it now, before it is too late.
Tell your kids, tell your friends, tell your government that you do care.
Just hurry! While you can....
